(Dis)Connection Series: Arches at Sunrise

Digital photograph
97 x 65 cm
As the first rays of dawn paint the sky in hues of pink, purple, and orange, a gentle scene unfolds at Arches National Park.
In the foreground stands the silhouette of the park’s iconic ‘window’, its elegant curves framing a tableau of human connection and introspection. Amidst the natural splendor, figures gather—a family huddled together, a solitary figure engrossed in their phone, and high above, a child and their faithful companion gaze out in silent contemplation.
This photograph, part of my (Dis)Connected series, captures the delicate interplay between humanity and nature, inviting viewers to ponder what it means to be truly connected—to one another and to the world around us.
